A full length journal paper titled, “Contrast measures for predicting perceptual effects of daylight in architectural renderings,” by Siobhan Rockcastle, Maria Amundadottir, and Marilyne Andersen has been published in Lighting Research & Technology. This paper outlines the online study on perceptual interest conducted in the Spring of 2015 and proposes a new model for predicting visual interest using image-based contrast algorithms.
