Presentation to Snøhetta, NY

On Friday, May 26, Maria Amundadottir & Siobhan Rockcastle presented an analysis they conducted on the Ryerson Student Learning Center to the project design architects at Snøhetta.  The Ryerson SLC was selected as a case-study to exemplify the Oculight workflow, developed to automate the simulation for an array of view-positions using human-centric daylight modules to assess visual interest and human health.  Motivated by the  final phase of Siobhan’s PhD thesis, this case-study enabled the research team to explore a building-scale simulation approach, which was published as a full-length article in the Proceedings to simAUD 2017.
