After presenting the initial progress made by OCULIGHT dynamics in our development of the OCUVIS web visualizer, the InnoSeed program at EPFL has approved a funding extension in the form of a ‘venture grant.’ With this funding support, we will develop some exciting additions to our tool, including the addition of climate-based illumination metrics for compliance with US and European daylight standards, scene rendering, and a design comparison function. The extension of this tool will allow OCULIGHT to offer both novel occupant-centric evaluations of health and emotion as well as industry-standard illumination and comfort compliance support.
