Siobhan Rockcastle was selected to receive a Hans Fischer Fellowship at the Technical University of Munich’s Institute for Advanced Study. This three-year fellowship will provide 30,000€ (+ 50,000€ for research associated costs) to support human-centric research in the built environment, using experimental design and machine-learning to model relationships that have not previously been studied between thermal and lighting condition variables. Siobhan will work with Professor Thomas Auer in the SenseLab and help to advise a PhD student that will also be supported by the fellowship. During the course of this fellowship, Siobhan will spend several months in residence in Munich.
