RiverFIRST is a development and urban design initiative on the Upper Mississippi River, North of downtown Minneapolis. Intended to revitalize the upper river corridor through improved biodiversity and increased recreational access to the water’s edge through a new network of trails, RiverFIRST is a long-term vision supported by a series of short-term priority projects and intermediate visionary proposals.
